ABOUT THE FARMHOUSE
A delightfully restored country farmhouse with pool and covered barbecue area.
Stunning views. Only a 15 minute walk to the historic town of Loro Piceno.
The pool area is set in a secluded garden with lots of shade. At one end is the barbecue area which overlooks the pool. Surrounding the house are trees and lawns which provide a safe area for children.
40 minutes from the beaches of the Adriatic and 50 minutes from the Sibillini mountains.
1 hour from Ancona Airport,

Three bedrooms.Sleeps 6.
Bedroom one has double bed, bedroom two has twin beds (can be made up to double and bedroom three has twin beds.

The land surrounding the house is cultivated with lawns and mature walnut trees.

All towels included, including beach towels. Weekly cleaning is included in middle of a two week stay.

By the private pool (7.5m x 3.5m)
is a covered Barbecue and shady seating area.

OUT AND ABOUT
Coast and beach
The property is located approximately 40 mins from the closest beach at Civitanova. Other beaches such as Porto San Georgio and Conero are approximately 50 mins to 1 hr away.
Le Marche is blessed with the wonderful Adriatic coast line, the beaches are clean (blue flag) and child friendly.
You can hire sunbeds and umbrellas for the day, for approx. 8 euros per person.
A fish lunch is a must overlooking the sea while sampling some chilled Verdicchio wine.
Travel
Ancona is the local airport from Stansted (RyanAir). Car hire is available. Only 55 mins drive to Loro Piceno.
Other airports are Pescara, Purgia, Rimini.
Rome & Bologna airports are approx. 4 and 3.30hrs drive respectively.
Distances
Macerata, the regional capital, with a fabulous open air opera house in July and August. Market day Wednesday. 30 mins drive.
Assisi worth a visit only 90 minutes away.
Ascoli Piceno with its amazing piazza is a lovely drive through the mountains. 1 hour drive.
Loro Piceno
Loro Piceno is well supplied with supermarkets, veg shops and there is a famous butcher which is well worth a visit.
There is also a Post Office, chemist, tobacconist, ATM machines, bars, excellent restaurants and pizzerias including;
Seta Cruda ( Hotel Casa Azzura), Ristorante Al Girarrosto,Da Luana,Le Loggia ( Urbisaglia) and L’antico Approdo.
There is a small market on Mondays.

This lovely welcoming house in Loro Piceno is all one could wish for to be able to enjoy time out relaxing in the beautiful Marche area of Italy. The house itself is very spacious, comfortable and well laid out, and the pool and garden are superb. A real home from home - so quiet and peaceful in a lovely area.
The views from the house across the surrounding countryside to the Sibilini mountains are forever changing and when the sunflowers are in full bloom, it's stunning!
